Not receiving email from AskFedora

Under the subscriptions "tab" in my preferences on AskFedora, I have the following values:

  • Asked by me: instantly
  • Answered by me: instantly
  • Individually selected: daily
  • Entire forum (tag filtered): weekly
  • Comments and posts mentioning me: daily

I've asked a few questions and gotten responses, but I have never received an email notification from AskFedora. I just double-checked the value for my email, it is correct. Nothing in the spam folders (my email is handled by GMail). Any ideas?

In the past, email notification in the ask software hasn't been working well. It may be a problem there but you want to make sure your notifications are properly set and not filtered somehow. Please login here and check your settings.

Ironically, I did receive an email notifying me of your answer florian.

I am having trouble accessing the link for however. I used my Google identity to log in to but is prompting me for a username and password.

go to and login using FAS credentials. then check notification settings for the ask site...(but unfortunately I think the problem is ask site itself...)
