Is there some package available for tracking dynamic QR codes? There are many such QR servers offered as a service, company Ventipix offer a commercial application to install on one's own hosting, but I found no open source solution. "FOSS bar code tracker" has been announced in 2012 but I find no out-of-the-box implementation.

I think you can use any shortlink service for this. E.g. using YOURLS (Your Own URL Shortener) you can setup such a service and then create short links for your URL. Depending on what software you use, it may allow you to edit the URL the shortlink refers to afterwards.

If you did so you can then create a QR code out of the shortlink. You can do so in many ways using one of the many JavaScript libraries, qtqr - a desktop tool not yet available in the Fedora repos, however –, or python modules. (Or just another online service…)

In the end, you get a qr code such as this one:
qrcode – Wonder where it goes to? Try it out!

And then, you can certainly see some statistics
