Hello,

Would it be possible to modify PreUpgrade in order to:

  • disable all third-party repositories automatically before upgrade and before reboot it would enable all third-party repositories automatically

  • when is not enough space on /boot partition PreUpgrade could remove older kernels except the current one.

  • maybe it would be possible to specify other eg. partition/external HDD for downloading packages in order to share them with other users. PreUpgrade would just ask whether the packages has been downloaded and where there are located.

Where is PreUpgrade hosted?

Thank you in advance.

Cheers, Michal

Hi Michal,

I like your suggestions but I think bugzilla is greater place for this: bugzilla.redhat.com. There is a component called preupgrade.
