Hi,

I'm having this programmer : TOP2008

I want to use it with Fedora to burn/upload the code. It has a serial to usb connector. USB goes into the host and other end to the programmer. I installed the application which came with above programmer using wine, however the issue occurs when it tries to install usb drivers.

Shall I use serial terminal on minicom to send the files (for that programmer should be ready by indicating green led on it, that isn't happening yet) or there is some other way to do it ?

Thanks

You will have a better luck using a virtual machine for this job instead of WINE. I had lock with cheap programmers that simulate AVR programmers, and used AVRDUDE from fedora repos.
