Why is Fedora-18 firewall so crippled ?

I do remember using the firewall program in previous LiveCD versions (16 & 17 in fact). There used to be options such as which local programs can access specific networks (like internet) and ports. There were also several other options. Where are those options in F18?

The firewall in Fedora 18 is firewalld and the GUI is a new one, hence the changes. If you are missing features, feel free to request them via bugzilla.
