I've been getting an error while trying to install the latest version of Fedora on my MacBook Air. I created a "Live Partition" using unetbootin, installing the "Fedora-17-x86_64-Live-Desktop.iso" to a separate partition on my internal hard drive. I can boot it with rEFIt, and get the Live CD up, but when I get to the partitioning stage during the install, I get the following error:

you have not created a bootloader stage1 target device

I've already partitioned my internal hard drive using Disk Utility, with the following setup. The partitions need to be reformatted during install, they are all "Mac OS Extended Journaled" (HFS+) by default, but I have changed them in the install partitioner.

Partition Size
Mac HD 65 GB My regular Mac HD, shrunk
BOOT 1 GB I knew I would need some partition for booting linux
root 8.6 GB For /
swap 4 GB Swap space
tmp 5 GB /tmp
home 35.73 GB /home
INSTALL 0.5 GB For the "Live Partition"

I've set partitions for /, swap, /tmp, /home, and I have tried to set a partition as "BIOS BOOT" or something like that. The installer still gives me the same error, no matter what I've tried.

Is there a simple thing I've missed? This is my first Fedora install. (but not my first Linux install)
