In Anaconda, I see this after I have selected to encrypt my disk:

A window popup that asks for the password I want to use to encrypt the disk but also warns me with "Warning: You won't be able to switch between keyboard layouts (from the default one) when you decrypt your disks after install"

Why does it say that I can't have multiple keyboard inputs and how can I get around that?

That warning was introduced because of the existence of a severe bug that apparently can't easily be fixed.

What is means: You can't change the default keyboard layout selected when setting up encrypted disks during installation. Once selected, that will be your keyboard layout (for entering the password).

In Gnome, or whatever DE, you can still add as many layouts as you want.

I agree, the error message is not clear for someone who doesn't know the context.

More information about this nasty bug can be found on the bugtracker.

This also means that during fedora boot you are asked to insert the password in order to mount the encrypted disk, you can not select which keyboard layout to use.

You are asked once during install. After that you won't be able to change that layout (and you don't want to change it!)

But again, that has never be different, and you can still add and use as many different keyboard layouts for your graphical desktop environment.
