I have Fedora installed, and it's up to date. When I go System settings > Printers > add new printer > Network I get the message "FirewallD is not running. Network printer detection needs services mdns, ipp, ipp-client and samba-client enabled on firewall."

When looking in add/remove software I see that FirewallD is installed. I also have a application titled Firewall (or Firewall Configuration when loaded) where I have exceptions for each of the services mentioned in the error message.

I still can not add a network printer. Help please?

I've been able to set up my printer using system-config-printer (you may need to install it if it's not on your system already). The setup wizard on that works fine. or you can add printers through the CUPS interface access via http://localhost:631

Run system-config-firewall and allow the services listed in the error message

"mdns, ipp, ipp-client and samba-client enabled on firewall"

Then re-run System settings > Printers > add new printer > Network

The default dialog works as well, or better, the system-config-printer (although that is a nice dialog to fall back to).
