Dear Fedora,

FC26 Xfce 4.12

In /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-xxxx, do I presume correctly that PREFIX=xx is the short netmask?

And do I also presume that PREFIX has superseded NETMASK?

And can either still be used?

Many thanks, -T
