I'm using Fedora 26 and I set Firefox to restore my browsing tabs when opening but every time I restart my computer and restart firefox I get the usual annoying message: "Well, this is embarrassing..". The problem has been on since Fedora 24 from what I remenber, how is that possible and PLEASE hot to fix it? Many thanks

In FF go to about:profiles page, and create a new profile, you'll see if fresh profile also has this issue.

How do you restart your computer? Do you kill the power and don’t give Firefox any time to save the profiles?

From that error message, it sounds like Firefox crashes on shutdown. You can troubleshoot a crash situation by going to about:crashes and about:healthreport. From Health Report, you can see whether you’re having trouble with plugin crashes or if it’s the application itself that crashes. If it’s the latter, then you can try Restart with add-ons disabled and see if this helps.

You can also start it from command line to see relevant outputs
