PPA repositories work only for Debian based distributions (e.g. Ubuntu) using .deb packages, while Fedora uses .rpm packages. In most cases tinkering to use .deb package in Fedora is sub-optimal.

There's no CPU-G package available in official Fedora repositories, but there's up to date and very capable inxi.

Open terminal and run inxi -F, man inxi will show you a manual with all the capabilities explained. If it's not yet installed on your system, you'll do it with DNF. Depending on your configuration either run sudo dnf install inxi (if your user is an administrator) or su -c 'dnf install inxi' or su and then dnf install inxi (if you plan on running more commands as root).

Have you tried inxi? It shows the same information, just in CLI, not GUI.
