Hi All,

When SELinux throws an error, I get an icon in my task bar. Clicking on the icon, I get all kinds of information about the issue.

Question: What is that program called? I would like to be able to fire it off over "ssh -X" to check its status without having to open an xRDP session.

Many thanks, -T

Thank you!

Rats! It doesn't work over "ssh -X:

$ sealert &
[1] 2159
[tony@FedoraServer ~]$ ERROR:dbus.proxies:Introspect error on :1.2:/org/fedoraproject/Setroubleshootd: dbus.exceptions.DBusException: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Message recipient disconnected from message bus without replying

my ssh run string is:

ssh -l todd -t -X -p xxx aa.bb.cc.dd

So far I am very successful in remotely displaying geany, leafpad, and several Perl programs I have written. Sealert is the only holdout. Export Display makes no difference.

export DISPLAY=:0
$ sealert &
[1] 22958
$ ERROR:dbus.proxies:Introspect error on :1.2:/org/fedoraproject/Setroubleshootd: dbus.exceptions.DBusException: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Message recipient disconnected from message bus without replying

I can even run Firefox over it, although it gives new meaning to the definition of slow.
