Hi All,

Lightdm comes with the Live spins of Xfce and I use the Live spins to install Linux and Xfce.

On lightdm's login menu, in the upper right corner of the toolbar, there is a power button that allows you to shutdown, reboot, etc.. Is there a way to add an item to this menu?

Many thanks, -T

Yes, as a matter of fact there is. You need to install lightdm-gtk-greeter-settings and run it as root.

sudo lightdm-gtk-greeter-settings

Go to the Panel tab and you can add, remove or change the positions of what's on the panel and save it.

Thank you!

It looks like I can add an item, which will work for me, but I can not modify the "Power Button's" pull down and add an item to it.

feeling froggy? Get the source and add a feature to the settings software, to allow menu modification.
