Mouse not working in only one user

A few days ago the touchpad of my Asus A550L suddenly stopped working while logged in as me. The touchpad works in other users in my laptop and in the user-choosing screen, but not in my user anymore. A external USB mouse works perfectly in my user.

I was using Fedora 25 and I upgraded recently to Fedora 27, but the problem is still the same.

What should I do? Thank you very much for your support

Seems something with the mouse and touchpad settings, you can find them in the setting panel and see if everything is fine.

Wow, that was quick. I went there and for some reason the touchpad was disabled, so I enabled it and it works perfectly again now. I hadn't thought about checking there! Thank you very much :)
