Hello, is it possible to trick Fedora installer to recognize the loop device in the device selection to be able to install Fedora on the loop device? It's possible to do it in Ubuntu, but it's not working for Fedora:

It's not possible to do that in the installer. You can't trick it that way because it checks the actual device type instead of just accepting the /dev/sda name. You might be able to do it with a kickstart but I didn't try it.

Another possibility would be to install it using a virtual machine. That way you can assign the file as the VM disk and the installer will see it as a proper disk.

In the end I've installed the system on loop device via iSCSI.

Could you provide some more details on how you did it?
