The current pgRouting version that comes with dnf (stable) is 2.4.1. Since I'm new to Fedora, I don't know how to install a higher version (like 2.5.2 which is scheduled for fedora28)

Why do you need a newer version of pgRouting? Any case, if you really need 2.5.2 you should give it a go to enable the PostgreSQL yum repos

Once enabled it should be just a matter to install the packages using DNF, and everything should be OK.

Best luck!

Thanks for your answer.

I need at least version 2.5 for testing the experimental pgr_connectedComponents method.

The DNF integration worked (sudo rpm -ivh pgdg-fedora10-10-3.noarch.rpm) and I was able to install the package (sudo dnf install pgrouting_10) without error. But I can't add the extension to my existing database. Any ideas?

Glad to hear it's working (installed). About the add, sorry, that's probably more of a question for a pgRouting forum. Is there an error?

No, the whole installation process finished without error. Also pgRouting in version 4.2 is still available, but I can't access 5.2. Anyways, I decided to solve the problem with the python NetworkX library and wait for the release of fedora28.

Thank you for your support!
