hi. i have a raspberry RPI 2 that runs uelastix. The project is dead now and i cannot upgrade. Since the machine is in production i would like to install some packages. Is there any way to make it work with archived repos or any other way please?

Is uelastix based on fedora in any way? Otherwise I don't even understand your question. Did uelastix have repositories? A package manager? This way you can always install new packages (altough outdated) from their repos. If you need a newer version of a package or a package not in their repos, I guess your only chance is to compile it from source and I suspect you are gonna need a cross-compiling toolchain in a more powerful machine.

Hi, thanks a lot for your reply. the uelastix project is long gone, so their repos are offline. It was build on fedora18 and i need to add packets from the fedora project. Packets related to the OS and their dependencies, not the uelastix. an example could be the openvpn, nano, vim htop.... Is there any way to make it work since now it displays an error on yum update.

fedora 18 is long EOL too. If its repos are as well offline you can go here: rpm.bone.net choose advanced search, select fedora 18, enter your query, download your package and install it locally. I looked for openvpn and it's there (openvpn-2.3.2-4.fc18.x86_64.rpm)
