I want to set up my iMac to dual boot with Fedora 27 and OSX 10.13. I read a procedure that was tested on a Mac without Boot Camp Assistant. Since OSX is installed with Boot Camp Assistant, I don't have that choice. Will Boot Camp Assistant itself (I have not used it, so my iMac is currently running only OSX) cause any problems, or should I be able to follow the procedure in the linked document? Can you remove the Boot Camp Assistant? Then you can just follow the instruction without it. I haven't used Boot Camp Assistant, and I successfully dual boot OSX 10.13 with Fedora 27 on an iMac.

I have not tried to remove Boot Camp Assistant. Since I don't plan to use Windows, I don't see where it would cause harm. I'll look into it and give it a try. Thanks for the suggestion.
