What you maybe want is a host machine (running Ubuntu or Fedora or ...) and then you can run both Fedora and Ubuntu as virtual machines at the same time

Welcome to ask.fedora. Normally, I'd suggest that you check with the Ubuntu people because strictly speaking this is an Ubuntu issue. However, I did a quick search on your error message and found this: Ubuntu boot-repair. As you're trying to install Ubuntu, I presume that you have a LiveUSB of Ubuntu. Start it running, follow the instructions at the bottom of the page and if all goes well, you'll be able to install and use Ubuntu. If you need more information about the various menus and/or options, check at the program's website.

While I'm here, I'd like to ask why you want to dual-boot a server, which is normally running 24/7? I can understand why you'd like to do this with a workstation or laptop, but why a server?
