Setting up ltsp on Fedora 27

asked 2018-04-24 21:49:51 -0600

There used to be a k-12 linux project, more recently I have seen a package in a repo for ltsp-client but have not seen anything for ltsp-server.

The unofficial RHEL git repo is here: https://code.launchpad.net/~bcgss/lts...

It comes with autogen.sh which is, quite obviously, something short of an rpm.

Does anyone have / is anyone aware of / can someone provide complete instructions for setup on Fedora 27 (server?)

I found some old old instructions for setting up on Fedora but they are of no use.

I am not interested in running Ubuntnix.

The official ltsp repository seems active and even has recent commits taged Fedora.

I saw another post where the OP was asking if anyone knew any alternatives. It seems LTSP is deprecated on the Fedora/RHEL7 front.

It appears LTSP is generally deprecated.

I find this answer and comment difficult to reconcile. In the official ltsp repo (not originally linked in the question) there is active development and even recent commits tagged Fedora.
