XORG Issues. Fedora 27

I want to use Gnome on Xorg. So I select it after I put in my password with the option of Gnome with XORG. When I do so I login into a blank grey screen with a mouse with an X on it. My auto start program of Discord does start however some of the scrolling features are broken and the X goes back to the regular pointer System Information

tried to post a comment, site errored with Forbidden, 403.

What driver are you using for your video card? Open source is reported to work better that what AMD provides.

I did also get the 403 message. Then erased all old cookies and that fixed it.

@Wherkamp, you can check if a package has been installed by (e.g. mesa)

dnf list installed mesa

or

rpm -qa mesa

[wherkamp@wherkamp ~]$ sudo dnf list installed mesa

[sudo] password for wherkamp:

Error: No matching Packages to list

[wherkamp@wherkamp ~]$

What mesa should I install?
