How to know if nouveau supports my video card and when will it be available if not?

Currently running fedora 28 on optimus laptop. It was not possible to install fedora without blacklisting nouveau with rd.driver.blacklist and modprobe.blacklist. It ended up with running fully on integrated intel graphics i suppose. After boot i made modprobe nouveau and regenerated initram with nouveau module support. Now lsmod lists nouveau, but i guess it does not start anyway and falls back to i915 ( long booting time and kernel warning: "A kernel problem occurred, but your kernel has been tainted (flags:GW). Explanation: W - Taint on warning. Kernel maintainers are unable to diagnose tainted reports.")

What i really need is proprietary nvidia drivers from rpmfusion with ability to boot to nouveau (for powersaving) or intel. Problem is that rpmfusion suppose that to switch between nouveau and nvidia you have to reboot, removing "blacklist" from nouveau (grub kernel parameter), which will make use of nouveau instead of nvidia automatically. It is possible to use nvidia, but I can't disable it the way i mentioned above. Removing nouveau blacklisting from grub kernel parameters will not start laptop on nouveau because nouveau i assume does not support 1050ti. It ends up with running only on nvidia without a chance to switch to intel (or nouveau) without fully removing nvidia drivers. Need help.
