I've installed Fedora 28 on my Raspi 3B+. Everything seems to work except of LVM with mirrored volumes. I want to attach two external USB disks, mirror them, and then share them out via CIFS to create a little NAS device.

I can create one mirror volume just fine. But when I try to create a second one I get an error that the rmeta0 slice is busy and it stops there.

Anyone tried the same thing or got the same error?

I now created a mirror with mdadm and added LVM on top of that. That seems to work but IMHO this is one additional layer (MD) between the USB subsystem and LVM.

Thanks,
