Hi,

First and foremost I am new to linux so forgive me if I get my verbiage mixed up. I am trying to boot anaconda (oscap) with fedora 28 so I don't have to go through the long and hard task of manually updating my computers security, however there is little if any information that shows how to install it so it can boot with the initial install of Fedora 28, there is lots on the RedHat site telling me how to install the scap workbench AFTER the install of the OS but not much on installing it from the initial boot install, the most I see is this... [url]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F...] , In the youtube video it says "specify the http location of a security guide that we have previously created with scap workbench" now I know how to create the reports on scap workbench but how do I create http location and then install it?

I'm sorry, but I've never used the package. However, their website includes a tutorial on getting started.

Welcome to ask.fedora! Anaconda is the Fedora installation program, and is only used to install Fedora on your computer, either for the first time, or to replace an earlier installation. It has no use after installation and can be removed without any problems. If you need to install programs after your system's installed, you can use dnf from a CLI, dnfdrangora if you prefer a GUI, or whatever package management program is provided by your DE. Checking with the program's website, you would install it from a CLI with dnf install scap-workbench and then just use it. Hope this helps, and feel free to come back and ask any more questions you have.
