I am going to use my Fedora Workstation 28 as a web server in LAN. I am using firewall-config. Under the Zone section I went to Source Ports and added the ports 80 and 443 and then reloaded. After reload, it seems the added ports are gone and I cannot connect to my computer web server from another computer in LAN. By turning off firewalld, I can access the server. How can I open required ports in Fedora to allow web access?

@powergame try this firewall-cmd --permanent --add-service=http and firewall-cmd --permanent --add-service=https

In firewall-config you see at the top the word "Configuration:" and a pull-down selection for selecting between Runtime and Permanent. Chose Permanent to make any changes permanent.
