Hello everyone. I am a new to fedora and i noticed that a menu which used to come in windows is missing here in fedora 28. Firstly when i tried fedora with live usb, when i right click on desktop a menu used to come there, But when I actually installed fedora 28 on my hard disk no option is coming on doing right click.

Please help me out here.Thank you.

Right click on desktop should only offer to change your background image.

What are are trying to do with that right-click?

Is the right click working elsewegere, say in the file manager?

That depends on the desktop environment.

Gnome does not show any files on the desktop. See for example Why does Gnome 3 not display files on the desktop?. I don't know if you can use gnome-tweak-tool as described in this seven year old post.

Other desktop environments may be able to show the files in the $HOME/Desktop directory on the desktop. The XFCE desktop certainly does and right clicking on the desktop allows you to create files and directories there.
