So today I installed the KDE spin of F28.. my disks were originally setup in an LVM so I did the same this time choosing to keep my /home and formatting the rest. The install went quickly and upon the first reboot and subsequent login I noticed that half of my icons are missing. I'm using teh default Plasma theme so I really don;t understand what's happening. I'd love some advice on how to attack and resolve this.

Thanks

Icons what? On your desktop or starters from the start menu?

Have you updated your Installation? KDE has somtimes issues with Icon Cache. Get always the latest updates for Plasma via software-Management. You can try to change the themes under system-settings and to check so if the Icons will come back.
