I created a liveusb from Fedora media writer and am trying boot from it on a Thnkpad.

When I try "Start Fedora 28 Workstation" it hangs on "Started User Manager for UID 1000"

So I opted for simple graphics install instead, with the boot option "3" specified to avoid any graphics driver conflict. This is the only way to get past the hanging it seems but then I just a localhost login prompt. I have not created any users, as this is a brand new system. I can login as root with no password, but that's it.

Am I able to install from that? I can't find any installation instructions that go from here. Or if there's some way to get to the GUI that'd be wonderful as well. I have an NVIDIA Quadro P2000.
