I recently added a new resolution to my xrandr called "1920x1080_60.00" and I tried to apply the resolution with xrandr --output XWAYLAND0 --mode "1920x1080_60.00" (the screen is called XWAYLAND0), which then returned xrandr: Configure crtc 0 failed. Can't find much on what to do to resolve this, any help appreciated. Running Fedora 27.

Use the Gnome way of setting the screen resolution: Right click on the desktop and chose the "Display Settings". The rest is straight forward.

Don't expect the old Xorg utilities all work with Wayland.
