Your question should be: What spin of Fedora is good for my PC.

The spin is what defines the Desktop Environment that you use (Gnome, KDE, Xfce, LXDE, ...) Fedora Workstation comes with Gnome and you won’t have any fun with that since it’s quite hungry for RAM.

I would suggest you try a Fedora 28 spin with a lightweight desktop like XFCE or LXDE.

Here you can find all 32-bit images for the Fedora28 releases: https://download.fedoraproject.org/pu...

If you'll look at the specs of his computer, you'll see that it has a 32-bit processor and can't use a 64-bit kernel. That's what he's asking about.

If that’s the question, you need to select the 32-bit version of the release you want to download. It’s usually under Other Downloads, for example: https://spins.fedoraproject.org/xfce/...

LXDE (and LXQT) will be the lightest on resources, while Xfce, especially with Whisker menu (xfce4-whiskermenu-plugin) added, will be more convenient (e.g. search field in application menu) and only slightly heavier.

GPU on this motherboard is OpenGL 2.1 capable (GMA 3100) and should work well with those desktop environments.

@madhavnikam do check your CPU, because all Core 2 Duo were 64-bit (unlike previous Core Duo) and will work better on 64-bit system, even with 2 GB of RAM.

Is there a difference between core2duo and core2deo?

@villykruse: No, core2deo sounds funny¹ but does not exist.

¹ No matter whether you think that deo=deodorant or the latin word for god (deus).
