Nautilus crash properties segmentation fault

When I right click on certain movie files and want to open the properties Nautilus crashes and closes itself. I observed this on a mkv and and avi file. On another avi file it was ok and properties were shown correct.

I launched Nautilus via a terminal to figure out what is happening. I can see that the message "Segmentation fault (Speicherabzug geschrieben)" occurs when it crashes. Sry the last phrase is German.

I am running Fedora29 and I updated to check whether this is fixed or not. It is not.

Really interesting! I think I resolved the issue while still not knowing what it caused. I had the negativo 17 repo added and from there I installed libdvdcss handbrake and makemkv. Because I want to go with maybe rpmfusion I removed all packages from this repo including dependencies and rebooted. Know I can't reproduce the problem. Really strange. This is maybe a quite good example for me as a fedora newbie how extra repos can mess up a system.

I will report this to the maintainer.

@fordprefect , for your information -> what-third-party-repositories-can-i-use-to-install-packages-that-arent-available-in-fedora, altought libdvdcss is in rpmfusion-free-tainted this repo is ocult for more mortal user as nofree just enable it , to manage matroska files there is a GUI -> mkvtoolnix-gui install it (is in update-testing) , convert files use winff from unitedrpm , enable repo installit winff and disable repo, that al

I checked this beforehand and also read on the rpm-fusion site about different repos. But I am a bit confused as I didn't mix. I have nearly no packages installed at all and just added negativo17 from which I installed vlc, handbrake, makemkv and libdvdcss. I informed simone about this so she is aware of the problem. I will stick with rpm-fusion and flatpack. Ive read that somone is preparing makemkv for flathub, which is nice.
