IDLE 3

sudo dnf install python3-idle

fedora 28 workstation

Hello pals, the "recent" options in nautilus doesn't show the recently opened file.
If we open a python file e.g. foo3.py , by double click or right-click "Open with IDLE 3" , then save modifications , although opening the file is enough.
After that the file is not showed on Recent option in nautilus, but if we open the same file with "Text Editor" (gedit) the file does is showed there.

Is there a solution for that?
Is there another option to find recently files, folders, etc on linux?

But if we open the file by richt-click "Open With Other Application and select "IDLE 3" , the file does is showed there on "Files" in the Recent item.

Thank you so much for posting this. This problem was driving me crazy and I was so glad to come across your post! Such a simple fix. I just Found your site and it led us to discover that our network printer had it’s SNMP group name disabled. Set it to “public” and the printer queue immediately started working. contact https://www.printersrepairnearme.com/blog/how-to-fix-brother-printer-in-error-state
