Fedora install stuck on Starting Terminate Plymouth Boot Screen...

This is the last message I see while installing Fedora (tried 28, 29, and rawhide):

Starting Hold until boot process finishes up... Starting Terminate Plymouth Boot Screen...

Edit: I am using nomodeset

Add nomodeset at boot time and try again.

I was already using nomodeset.

You wrote it only after my answer, how could one guess? Use noacpi at boot time.

I’m sorry, but I meant to update my post so others can see that I’m using nomodeset without reading the comment. Anyway, I’ve successfully installed Fedora 27 and now upgrading it to 29.

I have successfully upgraded to Fedora 29, but when I boot and select Fedora 29 from grub menu then I just see a black screen. I’ve waited for 10 minutes and Fedora 29 still doesn’t boot up, also I am using nomodeset.
