gnome-session crashes/freezes after awaking from suspend

Since upgrading from fedora25 to now 29 my systems has problem after awaking from suspend. After login to gnome the old session did not resume and it is started a new session instead. I belief there is some problem with the intel i915. Any hints on this ? Maybe someone has similiar problems ?
