fedora 29 live stuck at started gdm

Hello everyone,

I choosed to do a dualboot with fedora 29 on an ASUS ROG GL552VW. My hardware is :

Intel Core i5-6300HQ CPU 2.30GHz
8Go Ram
nVidia geforce GTX 960M

I used the fedora media writer but it's stuck at "STARTED GNOME DISPLAY MANAGER". On the beginning I have :

[8.443884] dracut-pre-pivot[791]: /etc/multipath.conf does not exist, blacklisting all devices.
[8.444462] dracut-pre-pivot[791]: you can run "/sbin/mpathconf --enable" to create
[8.444927] dracut-pre-pivot[791]: /etc/multipath.conf. See man mpathconf(8) for more details

I don't really understand what it means and if it has anything to do with my issue.

I tried both BIOS and UEFI mode, got exactly the same result, I tried to launch it in troubleshooting.

I have done some research by myself and found that other had the same issue but none of the solution seems to work with me. But it led me to think the problem could came from a compatibility issue with my Graphic Card ?

I totally new to this environment and have absolutely no idea of what to do. any help would be wonderfull.

PS: Sorry if my English is a little bit bad I'm french and still learning.

Welcome to ask.fedora! Your video card can't be the issue because it will work well enough with the open source driver, and if it's getting that far, BIOS or UEFI isn't an issue. The error message tells me that there's an important file missing that's causing this. Have you tried booting this on a different box? Did you verify the .iso before using it?

I've done the "Check media and start fedora live" if that's what you mean. By booting on a different box you mean with a different USB key ? I will try this

When I do "Check media and start fedora workstation live" it says :

supported iso : no

I meant, "Try booting a different computer with that flash drive." I take it from what you've written that you didn't verify before burning. You need to download the checksum for the .iso and use that to verify that it's correct.
