As a continuation of my previous question,

I'm trying to install Fedora to my mac, and I can come to the beginning of installation step without an error, but during the installation process, the media does not recognise the SSD in my mac. I have googled it this problem, and all the answers are saying something about changing somethings in BIOS, but this is not the first time that I'm installing Fedora to this mac; but in those cases, the media was erroneous; it was failing on the test on the BIOS screen, but it was able to recognise the SSD.

The followings are some outputs that I though might be useful.

[liveuser@localhost ~]$ lsblk

I don’t know what the problem is here, but you may have some luck using the partitioning tool in Mac’s recovery tool (hold cmd+r during bootup) and reformat the drive. It could be an issue with encrypted drives not being exposed by the mainboard in an unauthenticated boot environment. Nuking the drive could work possibly fix this. This is just speculation, however.

@Aeyoun Thanks for your comment; I tried installing Fedora 28 again, instead of 29, and 28 can recognize the drive perfectly; In fact, I installed 28, and then upgraded to 29 now; I'm not sure how stable the system is for the time being, but i think the problem is with the new version - Fedora 29.
