[jrogers@localhost ~]$ su Password: su: Authentication failure [jrogers@localhost ~]$ sudo su [sudo] password for jrogers: jrogers is not in the sudoers file. This incident will be reported.

[jrogers@localhost ~]$ id
uid=1000(jrogers) gid=0(root) groups=0(root) context=unconfined_u:unconfined_r:unconfined_t:s0-s0:c0.c1023


[jrogers@localhost ~]$

I studying for my Linux+ and have broke my account somehow. I am now unable to log in as root or do sudo actions. I am current researching the issue and have posted in another forum for help.

Welcome to ask.fedora! When you tried using su, did you use your password or roots? As for not being able to use sudo, it appears that you're not in the wheel group. It's quite possible that you weren't prompted to set a root password during installation and can't set one now without sudo. A quick search on "reset root password" should tell you everything you'll need. Good luck, and let us know how things work out.
