Fedora 29 wifi password not working

asked 2019-02-03 12:35:35 -0500

HI, I was hoping to get into Linux this year but I've fallen at the first hurdle, connecting to the net.

I've got the latest distro of Fedora 29 from the media writer, boots fine but then I can't connect to my wifi router?

I can see my network, put in my password....it tries to connect then fails authorisation.

I'm using a wifi dongle but works fine with windows with no drivers needed (only windows ones)

Hi !

It means you didn't enter the right password.
If you try Fedora with a USB stick or Fedora Media Writer without installing Fedora on your PC, the keyboard by default is the US keyboard. So type your password with the US keyboard in mind.
