around 03/13/2019, a Fedora 29 updates via the UI, (not CLI using dnf) unexpected didn't work. This hasn't been a problem until this update.

The error msg after clicking on Check for Updates button and then clicking the blue button, Download:

Unable to download updates: could not do untrusted question as no klass support

Attempted work-arounds: [1] ran sudo dnf update [2] restarted the network after adding a google nameserver, 8.8.8.8

I'm hoping this is a general problem for all Fedora 29 workstation users and the problem is being worked on. However, it has been a couple of days or more and I don't see another post on this issue in this forum.

[2] added Google nameserver and restarted the network

Why did you think that adding a Google nameserver to your DNS would help? I see no signs of DNS issues in your question; were other programs having trouble?

I didn't expect that adding the google nameserver would solve the issue. It was a recommendation from another post on a different site with a similar error msg. It was easy, so I did it.

This evening the issue resolved itself. Fedora 29 updated without incident.

Rather than a problem with the name server, the configuration part may be incorrect in certain situations. If the other problem persists, please update the article! Have a nice day ...

Thank you. I often see people try things that have nothing to do with the issue, and sometimes I just have to ask why.
