openjdk 8 on fedora 29

Fedora 29 has preinstalled Java 11, can I also install openjdk 8?

As simple as

sudo dnf install java-1.8.0-openjdk.x86_64

If you keep version 11 installed - you may need to use update-alternatives to choose which one (8 or 11) is used when you type java or javac.

I have fedora 29 KDE and openjdk was not installed, I now installed openjdk 11, but you can install as many as you like. have a look at this link text
