image descriptionI have successfully booted from live-usb image of Fedora-18. I don't see any option to install it on hard drive.

Live session is working fine

This snapshot of my desktop while using live usb there is no visible option to install fedroa on hard drive.

How can I install it on hard drive?

What live media are you using? In Gnome3, you have an "install Fedora" option right as it comes up, and then also in the dash.

I discovered a Fedora 18 Spin that comes with everything preloaded, All codecs, video players, free media and development stuff. It is a DVD image of Fedora 18 that was released January 15th.

Here is the link. http://mirror.yandex.ru/fedora/russianfedora/releases/RFRemix/18/

Its from Russia, but all of it is in English, and includes all related software from rpmfusion.org

If it comes with non free software, it is not a Fedora SPIN. None of the fedora spins provided by the community contain non free software. It is against our foundations. It is a remix, and has nothing to do with the fedora community. I'm not even sure how it has the fedora name in it. They've taken our open source packages and made another distribution. It should not contain fedora logos or trademarks, and is not related to the community.

I'm not sure where you got the iso in this case. The KDE live iso that I have has an "install" option right on the desktop, and also in the menu under "Favourites". Screen-shot showing option on the desktop below:

How did you create the usb?

I used the live-usb-creator from fedorahosted.org. I can't normally boot from live-usb so I am using basic graphic mode under troubleshooting menu. To know the reason behind this please have a look on this problm https://ask.fedoraproject.org/question/23812/fedora-18-kde-installation-problem/

If you have a 4 GB USB, why are you using a LiveCD image? Download the full install DVD .iso, put that on your flash drive and use that instead. (Yes, it works; I've done it.) That way, you can customize your installation instead of having only what happens to be on the LiveCD. You write that you want KDE, so be sure to select that as your DE instead of the default of Gnome.
