I kind of installed a video driver in my dell inspiron 1564 and even though it installed successfully, it was a wrong driver due to which after restarting the system the screen is not appearing. it is totally blank. can anyone help me to uninstall the video driver?

Boot into a console by following these steps: press "e" at the boot menu (the one where you can select different kernel versions), arrow down to the line that starts with "linux", put a 3 at the end of the line, then press F10.

Once you log into the console, you can run yum commands to add/remove software.

Untested in this particular case, but one possibility.

Boot with a liveCD, it can be anything, doesn't have to be Fedora. Once the liveCD is running--we'll say it's Ubuntu, which allows you to run any command with sudo, and we'll say that your Fedora install is on /dev/sda1

sudo mount /dev/sda1 /mnt sudo mount -o bind /proc /mnt/proc sudo mount -o bind /sys /mnt/sys sudo mount -o bind /dev /mnt/dev

(You might not need sys or even proc, but it's my habit to do it this way)

Once that's done

sudo chroot /mnt

You'll now be in your Fedora system. At this point, you can use rpm -e (as in erase) or yum remove, and hopefully you'll be able to remove the video driver.

I repeat this particular instance is untested by me, but it's one quick way I get into a broken system for repair.
