I disabled uefi in my BIOS settings and installed Fedora from a USB stick. Installation asked me to create a 1MB BIOS boot partition so I did.

Windows and Windows Recovery options appear in my GRUB menu but when I access them I get the following error:

File: \Boot\BCD
Status: 0xc0000225
Info: The Boot Configuration Data for your PC is missing or contains errors.

How do I fix this? I wish to be able to dual boot between Windows and Linux. I know its a problem with my Windows installation but didn't know if it was a common problem for users who install Fedora alongside Windows 8.

Thanks for the help, but the as I stated in the question, the menu entries do appear in my Grub menu, they just fail to boot

Hrm, no clue in that case. I'm guessing something got overwritten in the windows boot part, which shouldn't have been. Google the error, see if there something you get.
