Laptop doesn't wake up after suspend.

I just installed fedora 18 on my hp laptop. After I open it up to wake it up from suspend, nothing happens. I have to reboot. Help.

the problem is quite "common" if only you would use the search function, there is atm literally the same question right above this one with an answer, and I've personally answered a similar questions 2 days ago.

this is either a driver issue or ahardware compatibility issue.

So,I posted this a few days ago, and I cannot believe that no one has fixed their laptop to wake up after top is shut. I thought that this may be fairly common.

Such issues are typically very hardware specific and there is no reason at all to assume that it is a common problem. Ideally, you want to file a bug report with the hardware info and try to debug that.
