I have used fedora 19 X86_64 DVD to install. I am on the gnome desktop environment. The reason i have asked this question is that i wanted to install few packages from the DVD which have not been installed. I used to use debian, in debian i used to have an option to add dvd as a repo. How can i do it in fedora?

Which Fedora installation disc or desktop environment did you use (e.g. GNOME, KDE, etc.)? What program are you missing the menus for?

In case this is GNOME, the menu bar has been removed in many GNOME applications. Usually there are buttons like cogs and/or downward arrows in the tool-bar that show menus. Also, there is the application menu, which is shown by clicking on a program’s name where it appears in the top-left, next to the Activities button.
