Hello. I want to remove the adobe repository from my system. I tried sudo yum remove http://linuxdownload.adobe.com/adobe-release/adobe-release-i386-1.0-1.noarch.rpm but it didn't work. What is the right way to do it?

Thank you.

Just remove the .repo file from the /etc/yum.repos.d folder, or, if you want to remove the adobe release file get the name of the file first.

rpm -qa | grep adobe-release

Then use yum to remove it.

yum remove <adobe-release-name>

Hi

As root issue the following commands:

  1. To access yum repository diretory

cd /etc/yum.repos.d

  1. To see all repositories installed on Fedora

    ls

After that command you can see all repositories.

adobe-linux-i386.repo rpmfusion-free-updates.repo fedora.repo rpmfusion-free-updates-testing.repo fedora-updates.repo rpmfusion-nonfree-rawhide.repo fedora-updates-testing.repo rpmfusion-nonfree.repo rpmfusion-free-rawhide.repo rpmfusion-nonfree-updates.repo rpmfusion-free.repo rpmfusion-nonfree-updates-testing.repo

  1. Now to remove adobe repository

yum remove /etc/yum.repos.d/adobe-linux-i386.repo
