Not possible. Even under wine, IE 8.0 is already garbage ( http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=application&iId=25 )

The only solution if you must IE is to run Windows under a virtual machine. You can use one of the many virtualization programs available (Virtualbox, VMWare, libvirt(may be)), install Windows as virtual machine and use IE 10.

Even if this was possible I would never install Internet Exploiter in a Linux system. :-P

Hi, if you need IE10, because you are developer, you can use "User Agent Switcher" for Firefox and enable compatibility with IE.
