Hi,

Where should I go to know if a given package will be upgraded to a new version in a Fedora release?

I'm interested in knowing if it is likely that Clang 3.4 will be packaged for Fedora 20, but is there a way to get this information for any package?

Build tools are generally not updated between releases since they can break existing software due to incompatible changes including stricter checks etc. The general updates policy describes the approach that Fedora takes. If there are good reasons to do so, you may request an update to any specific component by filing a RFE(Request For Enhancement) .

http://copr.fedoraproject.org may offer newer experimentals builds of some software. Use them at your own risk.
