The session keeps rebooting. The rescue startup works, but as known does not load modules I have removed and disabled hardware and mem chips to isolate the problem I have removed applications that seemed to have error messages in the /var/log/messages log I have tried to study the logs to determine the cause to no avail yet I have run fsck (with force) on the disk and all reports ok when starting the system in singleuser mode, it reboot during startup, when starting it nomally, it allows me to login (sometimes) for a few seconds, then restarts again. I need assistance to isolate the module(s) that is causing my machine to reboot

It happened again when updating the kernel to 3.13.6-200.fc20.x86_64, reverting back to 3.11 seems to work, the other 3.13 branches seems to be tainted with as reverting to them also fails. Also it seems to happen only on the 64bit version. The 32bit versions are running fine

Now, after you narrowed down the problem to the kernel - see this thread for suggestions how to test a koji kernel and report a kernel problem to bugzilla: https://ask.fedoraproject.org/en/question/42690/stuck-at-fedora-logo-at-boot-with-313-or-newest-kernels/ . See also https://ask.fedoraproject.org/en/question/8606/fedora-17-random-reboots-where-to-begin-troubleshooting/ and https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=575417 . After you fill in a bug - please drop a note here.

kernel 3.13.7.200.fc20.x86_64 does not resolve the condition. Fedora 20 can only run on kernel 3.11.10-301.fc20.x86_64

A directly compiled kernel also did not resolve the condition

The issue has been resolved eventually with further kernel updates about a few months later.
