best spice client

I have recently moved to Fedora from Ubuntu and I am wondering what is the best spice client (where I am talking in the context of qemu and kvm). For historical reasons, I have never used virt-manager and it seems, though I could be wrong, that virt-viewer is setup to work with virt-manager. I am now using vinagre and this seems to work pretty well but I have some issues going in and out of full screen mode. (To get out of full screen with a Windows guest, I must allow vinagre to intercept all vinagre keyboard shortcuts.) On ubuntu I used spicec which seemed to work pretty well but somehow does not appear to be available on Fedora.

I haven't migrated to virt-manager as my first choice because I don't want to mess around too much with Windows 8 licensing issues. (Microsoft office requests a reactivation when switching from ubuntu qemuu - version 2.0.0 I think - to fedora qemu - version 1.6.2.

Thanks for any advice,

-Timothy

Thank you for your answers. I think that migrating to virt-manager would be a good thing and I will look into that. In the meantime I will try spice-gtk3. I have alwys been a bit nervous about the Microsoft activation features but I will soon find out how easy it is because I have another virtual machine on another host system that is having licensing problems that I will need to sort.

First, you can use virt-manager to connect to any remote vm host that's managed with libvirt - the version of qemu on the system client doesn't matter to the VMs on the host.

Second, Fedora 20 has qemu 1.6.2, but Fedora 21 will have 2.1 - that might make changing hosts easier, once it is released. In any case, reactivating Microsoft products is a fairly simple procedure.

I primarily use virt-manager, but spice-gtk3 is also a good client which I used specially for using USB redirection (which virt-manager didn't do itself, but it does configure it. I don't know if it has been changed recently).
